About OSR Karting Sim Rig
A customer asked could we design a karting sim rig, so we have researched real world karting chassis and developed a metal tube sim rig that is simple to build if you have welding equipment.
We provide
- Full scale drawings of the main chassis & the wheel post.
- Full scale drawings of the strengthening plates & optional CNC files so you can have the plates cut locally.
- Wheel & pedal mounting plates for common sim rig wheels & pedals.
- Cutting list of all the metal tube
STEP 1 - Ordering
OSR will send you the digital plans normally within 24 hours. The digital plans are released using google drive, this process is 100% manual, so a little patience is sometimes required :-). It helps the process if you have a gmail account, but this is not essential.
STEP 2 - Assembling & Cutting
Once all the OSR Plans, Custom Hardware and Shopping List parts have arrived you are ready for assembly. This sim rig design requires welding of mild steel tube...
STEP 3 - Seat Mounting
Seat mounting, and Hardware not provided because this is very specific to the kart seat you choose.
